Managing my Time
During my entire High School career, I did not have to worry when I did assignments because they took less than 20 minutes to do. This overtime caused me to think that waiting until the last second to do my homework was an alright thing to do.

When I first got to college I assumed that it would require the same effort level. After I got through the first month of college I realized how this type of strategy would not due for this kind of work environment. Since college is basically hanging out with your friends every day, it is not a coincidence that it took some adjusting to get my homework done. My grades did reflect how much time I put into each assignment and this was not something I was used to. When I figured out what my problem was I needed to make a schedule that would benefit my social needs and my educational needs. I found out that based on when my classes are certain days of the week I could plan when I could do my homework. I Figured out that since my classes got out early most days I could just used that time when I got out to do my homework early. This allowed me to then to have time to hang out with my friends at night. Even though this is a change from what I am used to, doing my homework ahead of time also has led me to become less stressed to do my work right before class.
Initial Thoughts about posting my Narrative on Medium:
There is always something that could be added or taken out of an essay. But after looking over something after a period of time, it is easier to pick things out that needed to be changed. Posting a passage that anyone can see makes me a little nervous.
